It is a bike for beginner. It has 18-speed with Tiagra drivertrain, which offers a nice performance but good price.
It has all-new butted and hydro-formed 6061 aluminum frame, which reduces the air resistance; eventually made you faster.

Aluminum Superlight:
Aluminum has a weak image. But, it has the high tensile strength 7005 alloy. Because it has high treatment, it has a great stiff, fatigue resistant, corrosion resistant. It is good at the poor weather condition.
EQUIPMENT
It has the weight-saving kit to made but it has the short stem, which wasn’t good to cyclist. There is inclusion of a triple chain-set increased the weight. However, for the beginner, it is easier to ride.
WHEELS
It uses the WH-R500 wheels, which is the entry level. This wheel is reliable. But, some users claimed to tune up sometimes. Hubs: It is traditional ball and cone bearings. But, compared with other brand, it is not smooth, perhaps, it use entry-level wheels.
Handling
Because of the shorter stem, 10cm difference, it makes cyclist lose climbing performance.

Summary:
This bike makes me feel good. It has a great excellent acceleration. It makes the cyclist accelerates effortlessly. The frame has a nice geometry setting, so that cyclists should be comfortable.
Because of the Cannondale nice design ,Cannondale Synapse Carbon 3
may makes cyclists feel unfair advantage.

Unique Strengths:
Good frame.
It has a pretty nice built. It can significantly absorbs road bumps.
Carbon fork:
Use “Synapse Active Vibration Elimination (S.A.V.E.) technology” It can absorb the road bump; then, increase the stability and comfort, which also can make you get faster!
Use Shimano Ultegra:
Shimano Ultegra-series RS80 wheelset: As I tried it, it has the great handling and fast speed.
Weaknesses:
Because it use the high tech materials, it makes the price get a bot higher, but still reasonable.
