This cycle lane isn’t the best but the main traffic lane is a 40mph limit, so at points vehicles are coming past you at some rate. In this situation the HGV drifts across the cycle lane and blocks it. Forcing me to move around the other side of the HGV. Drivers complain when we don’t use the cycle facilities, but they have no problem blocking them!

In the city of ’s-Hertogenbosch Carnival is taken seriously. Young and old take part in the celebrations. What better than to reach those by bicycle? This results in a Carnival of Cyclists. ’s-Hertogenbosch (aka Den Bosch) takes up yet a third name every year during the days of Carnival. The city is then known as “Oeteldonk”.
As seen on TV and in the national press… This amphibious cycle was designed and built by seven engineering students at the University of Southampton, England in 2008. It is powered on water by a paddle wheel.
