[Cycling - Amstel Gold Race 2011] Final kilometers and aftermath

The final kilometers of a rather uninspiring Amstel Gold Race 2011. The group with favorites rides towards the final climb of the race, the Cauberg. Andy Schleck (Leopard Trek) has a small gap after an early attack, but Philippe Gilbert (Omega Pharma Lotto) gives a cycling demonstration on the final climb. He reacts in an impressive way on the attack of Joaquim Rodriguez (Katusha) and wins the race. Dutch commentary by Mart Smeets and Maarten Ducrot of NOS.

Competitive Cyclist Featured Bike: Ibis Mojo SL with SRAM X9

With 140mm of rear travel, dw-link rear suspension, and a 100% carbon fiber frame the Mojo SL Carbon is ultra-smooth with a surprising handling precision for its trail bike geometry. And no Mojo SL configuration on the market can match the bang-for-the-buck of our own SRAM X9 package.

Silly Cyclists – Episode 18 – New Year Alleycat Special

A suggestion was made by a subscriber to do a commentary over this video, what a great idea it’s turned into my new year special. An Alleycat race is an informal bicycle race. Alleycats almost always take place in cities, and are often organized by bicycle messengers. The informality of the organization is matched by the emphasis on taking part, rather than simple competition. More information here – en.wikipedia.org
